First Trax is a full service ski and sports shop specializing in both winter and summer sporting activities.

Winter
First Trax carries many brands of skis and boots, as well as ski related apparel and accessories. This winter (2011-2012) we will start carrying snowboards for sale and rental, as well as cross and back country equipment. As a full service repair and tuning center, the technicians at First Trax will be able to repair and tune your skis and boards to your liking. In addition, First Trax has a full line of ski and snowboard rentals for all ages.

Summer
First Trax carries LOOK Road Bikes for sale and KHS Road and Urban bikes for sale and rent. First Trax has all the clothing and accessories needed If you need a tune up of any level, First Trax is the repair center in the Valley. In addition, First Trax is the Valley's touring center for road bikes. If you are planning a group ride, let First Trax map it out for you. New to the Valley are SUP's (Stand-up Paddelboards). This is the perfect way to have fun while getting fit. First Trax rents and sells Naish boards. First Trax is also the Valley's store for summer outdoor wear for all types of weather.

Who we are

Mark Wallace

Mark, and his wife Kristen, have lived and worked in the Mount Snow area for nearly 23 years. As the previous owners of Wallace Properties, the Wallace's have a strong following within the second homeowner base. In addition their business background provides for the perfect mix. Mark's love for both skiing and biking made the opening of First Trax a dream come true.

John Grush

John and his wife Shirley have years of experience in retail. John has 35 years in the sports related field and Shirley in the clothing side of the business. John has been part of the Mount Snow Valley for a number of years. His true passion is speed; whether it on skis or on a bike he is hard to keep up with. John's knowledge of the industry is endless. Whether it has to do with skiing or biking, John is the person to turn to.
